Diamer Energy developed a community-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) powered reverse osmosis desalination system to address water scarcity issues in underserved regions. This project utilized solar PV technology to power a reverse osmosis unit, providing a sustainable and reliable source of clean drinking water. By harnessing the power of the sun, the system not only reduces reliance on conventional energy sources but also minimizes operational costs and environmental impact.
